More historic Lexington.

These next few pictures, Larry said, that the smaller tombstones were members of the Olive family.

The big tombstone for the Olive Family. There is a retold story about the family in the book title: The Ladder of Rivers.

Historic marker that tells about Chief Turkey Leg of the Cheyenne Indians and a the Plum Creek Massacre. Sorry if you can't read what is written on the stone.

Another look at the North Platte River.

St. Peter in the Valley Episcopal church. I went to their serve today. Meet some really nice people there today.

St. Peter's in the Valley church. I may have been a stranger in town; however, the people in the the church welcomed me as one of their own. One of the church members, Larry, was nice enough to give me a ride around town. That is how I was able to get all these great pictures and learn about this town, which was originally called Plum Creek. Thanks Larry for your help today.

The downtown aea of Lexington, NE

A corner shot of downtown with the clock.

The court house. It is kinda hidden by the pine trees, but it is there.

Pictures of the Great Salt Lake in Utah

Here are a couple different pictures of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Nice lake to look at. It seems odd to see like a mountain island in the middle of it.

Echo rest area, I80 mile marker 170 in Utah

I had to stop for a short little break for driving. I stopped at the rest area near Echo, UT. This was a really nice place to stop at. A rest area basically in the canyon between two mountains.

Tree Rock is very unique and a site to see. This point of interest is found on Interstate 80 at mile marker 333 in Wyoming.
If you in large the picture, i think you can read what it says about Tree Rock, somewhat.
The next point of interest I past today in Wyoming on interstate 80 is this. This is Lincoln Monument. It is located at a rest area at mile marker 323. I have not stopped at that rest area, so i do not know what is all up there. Also, the elevation in Wyoming at this point is, 8640 feet above see level.
