The Black hills and Custards park

A park in Rapid City, SD.
Pactola res.

wild donkees at Custard's forest. They just come up to the car looking for food.

Keystone, SD

Keystone is just a tourist town. It is right before you get to Mt. Rushmore. This is a picture of the rocks in the Black Hills.
Driving down main street in Keystone, SD

You just have to love the old look.

some pictures of South Dakota on I90 heading west.

If you start at the bottom and scroll up, that is what you will see as you travel west.

This is at the Wall Drug exit.

The Black hills and Mt. Rushmore and Crazy horse.

This is called a Pig Tail Bridge.

First you go under the bridge and you can see on the other side it curve around and puts you on top of the bridge.

Which leads to this tunnel. There are a lot of Pig Tail Bridges through out the Black Hills.

Another tunnel that you come to by a Pig Tail Bridge. Just goes to show, we will put a road any where.

I took this picture of Crazy Horse. There are carving and blasting his face and a horse on this large piece of granite. I took picture from highway and didn't get to center it right, sorry.
Here is a one lane tunnel that you will pass through. As you can see, as you exit the tunnel, you can see Mt. Rushmore from the distance.

A better view of Mt. Rushmore after you exit the tunnel.

This is from the main entrance to the park. I didn't go in. I seldom carry cash and they don't accept plastic there. The fee to enter was $10 but only had $5 in wallet.

As i leave the park, you can still see some faces from the distance.
