travels in southeast Colorado

Hello, as I was traveling north on US 287, I forget how flat and beautiful this part of the state is.

Big wide open fields for the farmer to grow their crops.

However, dry like a desert.

As you drive, it is such a steady incline, you really don't realize how how in elevation you really are. This is around 4200 ft.

I made a stop at a Sinclair truck stop in Lamar, Co. I don't think this Green guy was too happy I pulled in.



This is my friend Ed. He lives and works in Denver. He picked me up last night and gave me a tour of downtown Denver.
